Roger Hackney, Resident REALTOR®, has been a licensed California Real Estate Broker since 1982. He has been a resident specialist in the Campus Commons community of Sacramento since 1998.

Prior to his career in real estate, Roger was on the staff of the late U.S. Congressman Robert T. Matsui, where he served as District Representative, in charge of Mr. Matsui's Sacramento office. Previous to this public service position, Roger was on the staff of the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce where he was Manager for Governmental Affairs.

In 1969, 1st Lieutenant Hackney served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Communications Platoon Leader with the 101st Airborne Division in the Republic of South Vietnam.

Roger holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. Roger is married, has two children, and enjoys playing golf with his sons at the Campus Commons Golf Course.
